Introduction to Safari in Tanzania

Our Safari Adventures are custom built for you. KiliTreks offers any length of Tanzanian Safari from 2 days to 28 days and we can accommodate any sized group. We offer safari to all the major national parks and conservation areas in Tanzania, as well as some lesser known, less crowded areas. Consider the options below:

Step 1:

Decide which accommodations you prefer for your safari. We can combine types of accommodations if you want to experience basic camping for a few days and still enjoy a lodge or hotel stay.

Safari accommodations

Basic Camping	You will sleep in tents at a designated campsite inside the park. All meals are prepared by your cook. Wildlife will occasionaly roam through the campsite at night.

Permanent Tented Camps	Sleep in a private tent/hut that is still surrounded by nature, but raised off the ground and more secure than a normal tent. There is a restaurant and a staff onsite to serve you.

Standard Hotels	Typical hotel, located outside the park. Private rooms and restaurant. Double and triple occupancy.

Luxury Lodges	4 or 5 star lodges inside the parks. Swimming pools, private rooms and restaurants. Many lodges will put salt licks outside to attract wildlife, such as elephants.

Step 2:

Choose which areas you want to visit. We offer some standard itineraries to help guide your decision or we can suggest a perfect itinerary based upon the time of year that you visit, and the length of your stay.
